The Music Ministry at St. Pius X Parish is comprised of volunteers with a common love of sacred and worship music. Three non-auditioned choirs provide worship and liturgical music at the weekend Masses and for other parish liturgical celebrations, including weddings and funerals. New members are always welcome!
With Christmas approaching, members of the music ministry join forces to present the liturgical worship for Mass on Christmas Day at 10:30 a.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for people to be a part of the music ministry on a ‘seasonal’ basis, if unable to commit regularly on a weekly basis throughout the year. This year’s Christmas music program will include well-loved Christmas carols in their traditional 4-voice arrangements [SATB], so men are especially encouraged to come sing the Tenor and Bass accompaniments! Practices begin on Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Church.
